What is Wave by Architect?

Wave is a range of products by The Architect Watch Company. A Wave bracelet contains technology that tracks real sea life animals in the ocean where the more often you track your turtle, the more plastic we remove from the ocean. To track your turtle, simply tap the bracelet against a mobile phone or tablet, to see where your turtle is located.

How does the bracelet not need charging or batteries?

Each Wave bracelet contains a passive NFC chip, which never requires charging or batteries. As this is a reactive technology, your bracelet will forever show the location of your turtle & best of all, you will never need to charge it or replace batteries.

How long will the tracking last?

Turtles can live for 45 to 50 years, so as long as your turtle is around, you can track it. There are no monthly payments and no further payments are required, just purchase the bracelet & start tracking your turtle.

On the odd occasion, if there happens to be an error with the tracking device on your turtle, we will reprogram your bracelet to track another turtle or sea animal.

If your phone supports NFC technology (which most phones do), you can track your turtle.

How is my turtle tracked?

The technology used is called SPOT (Smart Position and Temperature). These tags are a specialised type of tracking device used in wildlife research, particularly for marine animals like dolphins, bears, whales, turtles, and sharks.

These tags provide invaluable data on the animals' movements, behaviour, and environmental conditions, contributing to conservation efforts and a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems.

SPOT tags are a non-invasive tag which allows scientists to gather critical data without disturbing or harming the turtle.
